|
Delivery/Pickup of a shipment (general cargo - packed
goods only) is
between business hours to/from door of a business address (Not in
residential area) where customer is responsible to offload/load the
shipment from/on the truck (driver may not help). |
|
For the convenience of the customer, a 3-4 hrs
window may be arranged on the day of Delivery/Pickup (between 8:30am to
5pm excluding weekends and holidays). Generally, Pickup is arranged in
afternoon hours but Delivery could be any time during the day. |
|
|
Delivery of import shipments does not include
charges such as Customs Clearance, Duty, VAT, Taxes, Storage, Demurrage
etc., if any, which needed to be paid before delivery. |
|
|
|

|
Special
Services for Delivery/Pickup: |

|
|
|
|
We DO NOT take any responsibility &/or
liability for damages (such as plants, lawn, walls etc.) by the truck to
the property during Delivery/Pickup to/from a non-business address. |
|
If the truck can not be parked within 40 ft from
where the shipment is lying &/or if the driver has to go over 4 stairs
step, it is considered as Inside Special. |
|
|
Following services are provided with prior enough
notice at additional charge. To avoid last minute delays or inability to
do our job, you are expected to advise & request these
specials at the time of placing the order. |

Liftgate truck |
When customer doesn’t have offload/load
capabilities for heavy (>100 lbs/package) &/or bulky pieces, truck
with lift attached at it’s back is provided. |

A specific time for Delivery/Pickup during

During Delivery/Pickup if the driver/vehicle is
detained beyond the free time allowance. Generally free time allowance is-
for shipment <300kg 20 min, >300kg 40 min, >2000kg 60 minutes.
Charges generally are for each 15 minutes period over free time |

Inside |
If driver to Delivery/Pickup the
goods to/from inside &/or upstairs/downstairs
(more than 3-4 stair steps), they need to bring Trolley
&/or other special equipment &/or an extra man to do the job right.
Generally this is charged as per Man Hour |

For driver to collect Cash/Check/Cashier’s
check on Delivery |

POD |
Proof of Delivery notification, upon request, is
provided free of charge but a written confirmation of delivery is subject
to a charge |
